In early April 2020, our President decided to give us something to look forward to, so he promised to have a reunion function. Whilst the lockdown took longer than anyone expected, we eventually had our Reunion function on Monday night the 5th April at the Kellaway Avenue Community Centre.

We were lucky enough to get a ‘Covid Recovery Grant’ from the Moonee Valley City Council to help us put on this function. We had a spit roast dinner, with dessert, which many of us enjoyed having a second serve. The music was provided by Dave Allen, who we have at other functions.

We can highly recommend him for any function requiring great music. The music was so good, that I even noticed people on the dance floor, who previously would not have got up.

We are also planning another function for our December club night. It will be a combined Christmas and Club Birthday party.

Our club has been in operation for 20 years. We will also be awarding a Life Membership to one of our members. Both these functions are subsidised by the club.

Over the last 20 years the club has grown a vast list of regular activities, as well as many special activities, like our recent visit to a local TRUGO club (look it up). We will be having an annual club Trugo championship. The first one will be next March.
