Mornington LAC

Glenmaggie trip. Mid-March saw twelve members of the Mornington Life Activities Club and five guests spend a few days in Glenmaggie and Heyfield.

There were six caravans and two camping vehicles at the Paradise Valley Campground and three members rented a house in Heyfield. On the Friday a lunch was held at the Maffra Community Sports Club and on Saturday everyone enjoyed a lunch at the Blue Gables Winery.

A small group went into Heyfield on the Saturday night and had a counter meal and enjoyed the band at the Commercial Hotel. In the evening, Happy Hour was held at the Campground around the campfire followed by a BBQ dinner. During one afternoon the members were kept busy with a Trivia Quiz and a game of Right Centre Left.

All in all we were quite busy but it was great to get away for a few days and enjoy ourselves.
