Ballarat LAC

Sunday April 11, 2021. We woke to a cold, windy, wet day in Ballarat. This was our fundraiser day. A Sausage Sizzle at Creswick Rd Bunnings.

We were fortunate to have the sausages and bread donated by Woolworths and the use of equipment from Dragons Abreast Ballarat. Robyn and Ian Boyd organized everything which made it easy and fun for those who volunteered to do one hour of service.

The weather did not put off folk coming to buy a sausage or two and coming back for more. It was a wonderful way for members to meet other members who walk on a different day.

The hour went very quickly and you walked away with a smile after meeting some very friendly Ballarat residents. We even handed out a number of our brochures to interested people. A very successful day.
