Daisy the Spaniel

Daisy the Spaniel

Helen emmigrated from England with Daisy her English Springer Spaniel, and joined LAC Croydon shortly after moving into her unit. Daisy is an amazing, gentle companion and Helen would be very lonely and lost without Daisy constantly at her side.

I remember that Helen and Daisy became separated one day during a walk in the park, so Daisy enlisted my help by tapping on my front door and when I greeted her, Daisy rushed around searching my unit which is in the next street from her home.

It was quickly obvious that she was looking anxiously for Helen. With me in tow, Daisy soon located Helen who had been searching for her dog.

During COVID–19 lockdown and  months in a new country, Helen would have been lost without her intelligent and friendly canine friend.

Walking in the local parklands twice daily with Daisy has enabled Helen to meet new friends and interact socially with other dog owners. Thus proving how very valuable these furry companions can be in avoiding extreme loneliness.
