Wine & Food

The Eynesbury Wine & Food group has been meeting for a number of years in the Eynesbury Community and when ELAC was formed in 2018 it came under the ELAC banner. The purpose of the group is simply to bring together community members who have a shared passion for wine and food.

There is a subcommittee who plan the next year’s functions. We are very fortunate to have two members who have spent many years in the wine industry and have an extensive knowledge of wine and contacts in the industry.

We run, on average, four dinners each year and have the perfect venue for our dinners – The Eynesbury Homestead to which we can walk.

Dinners are themed eg. Pork, Duck & Pinot, Winter Warmers, Lamb & Shiraz, Taste of Spain, Gin & Hat Night and Cognac & Whiskey.

We also try to incorporate a winery bus trip each year visiting 3-4 wineries with a lunch in the middle.

All ELAC events and activities aim to bring people within the community together who have a shared interest and our emphasis is on fun, friendship and enjoyment. The Wine & Food group meets all these criteria.
