Life’s Poker Bike ride

Sunday 5 October 10.30am to 12noon FREE
Grab your helmet, hop on your bike and join Life Activities Clubs for a bike ride travelling on bike paths upstream along the Yarra River. Stop at various checkpoints to pick up playing cards. At the end, the best poker hand wins an Amy Gillet Foundation Cateye Bike Computer. Winner will be announced on stage at 1pm; winner must be present. Download a flyer

Where: Meet at the Poker Ride marquee, River Terrace, Federation Square.
Get there early and take a free 5 minute health check – blood pressure, basic hearing screening, BMI and heart rate before you head out.

Life’s better together Walk

Sunday 5 October 11 am to 12 noon FREE
Put ‘spring’ into your step and step into October together!
Bring the family, invite a friend and join Life Activities Clubs for a leisurely 1 hour walk through Birrarung Marr, return via either Swan Street or Morell Bridges – you set the pace.

Where: Meet at the Walk marquee, River Terrace, Federation Square
Supported by City of Melbourne and Victorian Seniors Festival.
Be there at 10.50am for a warm up with Nicole Betts, Pursuit of Wellness before heading off (look for a flyer in your show bag).

All participants receive a ‘Life’s better together’ pack on completion of both walk and ride.
Registration not necessary but pre-register ONLINE ONLY for either walk or ride prior to the day of the event to go into the draw for prizes.
