On Tuesday 28th March, 48 members left Brentwood Park Neighbourhood House on what has become a regular Mystery Trip.

Our first destination was at a park on the foreshore at Hastings where we had a delicious morning tea.

We then travelled across the Peninsula to Dromana where we visited Heronswood House and Gardens which is owned by the Diggers Club.  Members wondered around the expanse of gardens which is divided into a number of areas such as the water wise dry garden, annual flowers and grasses, heirloom vegetables and berries, modern herb garden and cottage perennials.  One of the talking points was the size of the Moreton Bay Fig in front of the old homestead where people were enjoying tea and scones.  Some of our members indulged in retail therapy and bought plants.

For lunch we went to the Dromana Hotel for a delicious 2 course meal, after which we headed back to Berwick via the scenic route along the beach.  Another great time was had by all.
