The sun was shining on Sunday 1st October at Federation Square where hundreds of people came out to celebrate this years Seniors Festival. Sue, Robert and Rebecca were our guides on LACVI's 'Melbourne's Famous Laneways' walk, who then came down to help our Board and volunteers at LACVI's marquee.

Our stand was a great success, and our volunteers did an amazing job. A big thank you goes out to Sandringham, Port Phillip, Inner Melbourne, Moonee Valley, Knox, Yarraville, Croydon and Surf Coast Life Activities Clubs for representing our Clubs.
The Ageing Well Survey gives older Victorians the chance to raise important issues, share their experiences of ageing and highlight the support they need to age well.
In conjunction with the Victorian Seniors Festival we organised
LACVI Presents: A Walk in the Park. A walk around Melbourne’s majestic
gardens using walking maps from the Victoria Walks website. This guided
walk passed along some great points of interest, so while exercising, participants learnt some interesting things along the way.
This walk was guided by our very own Sue Van Gerrevink on Wednesday
1st December at 10.30am.
For more than 25 years, the Victorian Senior of the Year Awards have celebrated and recognised the valuable contributions of senior Victorians. This year’s awardees highlight the resilience, compassion and commitment of senior Victorians to their communities.
Life Activities Clubs Victoria Inc. (LACVI) is seeking committed and passionate individuals to join its Board. Skills in: Social Media; Marketing; Human Resources; Corporate Partnerships; Government Relations; Strategy; and Risk & Governance have been identified as areas to complement the current Board skill set and will be highly regarded.
