BRIEF ENCOUNTER – Laura and Alex become acquainted in the refreshment room of a railway station. Although both are quite content in their marriages, they fall in love and embark on a brief passionate affair, but riddled with guilt they decide to stop seeing each other.
WE WERE DANCING –One night Louise and Karl fall madly in love while dancing at a country club in the South Pacific, but in the light of morning they realise they have absolutely nothing in common.

Oscar Jaffe is a domineering Broadway producer whose recent theatrical projects have failed miserably, sending him bankrupt. As luck would have it, he re meets Lily Garland on a train. Lily was a chorus girl, who he transformed from a nobody to a Broadway star. If only he can persuade her to do his next show he will be back on top. Pandemonium ensues among the trainload of eccentric passengers.
