About this activity

1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings of the month (January – 3rd Wednesday only).

If you are looking for a game which engages the mind yet does not rely on memory, then Mahjong could be the game for you.

Four players vie with each other to be first to go “Mahjong” using tiles rather than cards.

You play as individuals, not as partners, and because of this, many people find the game more attractive than some card games.

On the first Wednesday we will be playing at the Classic Residences, Brewer Road, East Brighton from 7.00 – 9.30pm.

On the third Wednesday we will be meeting for a meal at 6.00pm at the Bentleigh Club and will play Mahjong afterwards.

We finish at around 9.30pm. Beginners are most welcome.

It is not a difficult game to learn, nor memory taxing but it will develop your powers of concentration.

There are lots of Winds and Dragons and before you start, you build a wall. Basically it is a lot of fun to play
